The tower was absolutely packed with what seemed to be a huge tour group who shoved into the lifts and pushed in the lines. People were sitting on the sills of the viewing windows so you couldn’t see, chatting and on their phones. More staff are needed to move people along and sort out the lifts.

Sydney Tower Eye is an excellent way to gain a panoramic overview of the fabulous Sydney CBD! As I was visiting during the off-peak season, the queue was orderly, I was able to admire at my own time, the city view from every angle (360 degrees)!

A Must to do if visiting Sydney. We went early on a Monday morning, there was no queues, bought a dual ticket which included the wildlife centre, and went straight up in the lift. The views were fantastic, probably the right time to go too as you could tell the heat haze was moving in to obscure the sights in the distance later. You do get a view of both the bridge and Opera House along with many other beautiful sights. We only went to the observation deck due to my wife’s fear of heights but it was well worth the entrance fee.
