The region between Tel Aviv and Jerusalem is loaded with history that has been left behind by the modern highway that connects Tel aviv and Jerusalem. Even domestic travelers are surprised to see what they've been missing, even though they live close by or use the close by highway in a daily basis.
On top of this there is a big neighbourhoods development that threatening to cover some of this beauty with cement. Therefore I invite you join me and get to explore this beautiful and forgotten area.

Itinerary
This is a typical itinerary for this product

Stop At: Tel Aviv District, Tel Aviv District

The SUV driver will meet you at a pre-coordinated location and make the best to leave the big city as soon as possible, out to the historical roads that used to connect Jaffa and Jerusalem in the past.

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Modiin, Modiin, Central District

We will pass by the moderen city of Modiin. 2000 Years ago this was the origin of the Hasmonaim and along with the remnants of the old Roman city of Amaus near by, it gives some points of interest to show on the way.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Abu Ghosh, Abu Ghosh, Jerusalem District

We will get to Abu Ghosh via an off road detour that had been created buck in 1948 by the new born IDF in order to bypass the siege on Jerusalem that was made by the Jordanian army at the time. In Abu Ghosh we can stop and get something to eat/drink. after a short stop to meet an old and tiny spring and explain how it has been used for irrigation in the old days we will continue with our journey to Jerusalem.

    We spent a magical Saturday in the company of Aviv. Great tour in the "backyard" of Gush Dan .... Aviv turned out to be a well-trained and a very very pleasant guide. With confident , Aviv navigated our way through trails and stories about the country, the people, the history .... all while demonstrating exceptional driving skill.
