It was the most horrible trip ever and to think that I did this trip with my 75 year old mother. The tour group Bein Harim is a horrible and unsympathetic tour group one can find. They are disorganize, not punctual, not caring, rude and have a non chalant attitude towards tourist. We booked a tour to Bethlehem with them. The tour was from Tel Aviv. Firstly they were late and no apology, we got to Jerusalem and were told to go to a certain table but there was no one. We finally tracked the driver and he let us to a small bus but left us there. Eventually he came, transported us to Bethlehem but was on his phone the entire time not explaining anything along the route to us. We got to the Border and was handed over to another two guys. The one man was introduced as Danny our tour guide and he was half intoxicated already so that was a red flag #1, during our tour he kept leaving us on our own and did not inform us of the significance and just said we must roam around and take pictures. We did not see everything as advertised when we booked. We were chopped and changed from one bad driver to the next and the half day trip turned out into a full day trip. The sad part was that at the end of the day they dropped us somewhere in Jerusalem and said we must find our own way back to Tel Aviv. 😥 It was the scariest moment for me because my 75 year old mom had to walk all the way and we had to ask strangers to direct us and most could not help because they do not understand English. I arrived at the hotel and canceled all my tours with this scrupulous agency Deim Harim

Highly recommend this tour. Fascinating visit to Jerusalem and Bethlehem. Incredible history and the story brought to life brilliantly by our guide. The highlight of my trip to Israel. Darren

Jacob was just awful. He had no problem giving his personal and political opinions on anything and everything. Apparently doesn't like Israel - made that very well know. Being Jewish most of what he said was offensive (people there make 500 while Israelis make 2000; Israel steal their water; thought the notes in the caves were too similar to those that you put in the Western Wall and was offended by it; told us Catholics not treated well and all leaving the area; can't wait for a wall to be built to separate the Palestinians from the Jews) Also, it took 4 buses to complete our trip (our first bus was late) Jacob also didn't want us to wait in line in the church and told us to skip it. Our last stop they dropped us off at a cheesy "Jonathan's Store" souvenir shop even though there were other stores in the area. Didn't find him or the tour inspiring at all. What a waste of time and money! Maybe the company should hire guides that aren't anti-semitic.

I would like to say thank you to the local guide, the lady from Bethlehem that spoke a lot of languages and translated every interesting details in English, Spanish and France and had a very accurate time management. I just have to share that I did’t appreciate that at the end of the tour every participant had to spent time in a partner shop where a lot of sellers tried to convince you to buy something to support the Palestinian people. Really embarrassing and time consuming situation that didn’t match with the purpose of our tour. If I want to support Palestinan people, I prefer to make a private donation, I don’t want to make it during a tour. But there’s something more that I really didn’t like. The behavior of the driver that brought the group through the boarder between Israel and Palestina: he was really sarcastic and stupid with the soldier during bus inspection and according to me this behavior could be really dangerous for our group. Additionally, I didn’t like that the driver tried to convince our group to change program at the end of the tour and suggested to go to a place for lunch (probably a friend of him) instead to the Jaffa gate (the place where the tour ended). A really not professional behavior. Please, pay attention about the service that the local agency provide to the customers.
