The mountains of Galilee are rich with volcanic soil and are ideal for winemaking because of their hot summers and snowy winters. Most of the largest wineries as well as many boutique wineries have vineyards in the Galilee.
The Galilee encompasses the regions known as Upper Galilee, Lower Galilee, Western Galilee, and the Valleys. It’s an interesting area, known for its agriculture, culinary experiences, and multicultural tourism. A strong favorite when it comes to attractions drawing local Israeli and international visitors is the area’s flourishing wine culture.
During the tour, we shall visit three different wineries - one winery at the lower slopes of the Valley, one winery in the hills of the Lower Galilee, and one winery up in the mountains of the Upper Galilee. Three different terrains, very different wines, and fascinating stories of the owners will all be waiting for you during this very special tour.

Carmel mountain area, with its mild winters and reasonably cool summers, is one of the most popular areas of wine production in Israel. Here the wine industry of Israel was resurrected in the late XIX Century. And till now Carmel area boasts to have some of the best wineries in the Country.
