We booked the whale & dolphin spotting with Kim, this is our second holiday that we’ve used her to book, she is so so amazing we always go to her because we know she will go above & beyond, there’s never any pressure into booking which we love! We still have 2 more weeks here & we will be booking again with her soon

We saw this trip being advertised with Tenerife First Excursions at Callao Garden hotel in Callao Salvaje. We thought it was very good value and the description by Jill, the representative at Blue Sea Hotel, was very accurate and informative. Jill literally “sold” toys this trip and another one to La Gomera ( also absolutely fantastic, can’t fault it at all- very happy). We saw the dolphins / flying fish, swimming off the boat at Los Gigantes was a bonus. We recommend it to other holidaymakers. Thank you, Jill!

Mark recommended the trip. As well as got us fit in last minute before we went home. The trip was good enough. Ticked all the boxes of what was detailed, a boat ride, wild life in the natural reserve, dolphins, whales, lunch, paella, drinks. The crew were alright. Swimming spot was good. The boat was a little crowded. Caters for 70 but I think it could have done 60 max. Simply for the moving around element. We were probably the ones who took it from a count of 62 to 70 😂 Seas a little wild but in a small boat it's expected. The 3 hour round trip was enough for us. Cheers Mark, we've recommended you.

The waves were pretty high on the day of our cruise about which we were not informed. The effect was that more than 1/3 of the guests were seasick. One lady vomitted all the way through. It would be nice to be informed about the conditions before we start the trip so maybe people can take some medicine or decide if they want to go after all. I never was seasick in my life, while I travelled on different kinds of boats, so this came as an unpleasant surprise for me. The crew did not help much with this, they said they will give some tips on how to react when getting sich but the only thing they did was to give a bag. We did not feel any compassion from them. They seemed to even joke about it. We also did not see much because of this, because standing up or sitting in the sun made the seasickness worse. We did encounter some pilot waves, but did manage to catch them well on camera. The warm lunch did not look tasty at all. Just meatballs with rice. We did not eat it due to seasick. Here it is written that sun beds and ice-cream cost additionally, but our trip was organized for us by travel agency and we did not know that, so it felt like a hidden cost. We also had to have a photo taken at the beginning of the trip, like it or not, which was offerred for us to buy later. Same with a movie that a cameraman was recording the whole way. An expense we did not expect, so we did not take them. The fun part was the swim in the water, however, as not good swimmers and the spot we were offered to swim at was 15m depth, we decided not to partake. However, we took pretty good shots of other people jumping in the water. What irritated me was the crews attitude. It felt fake and unpleasant. Also, asking for tips by jingling with a small metal bucket when each person left the ship seemed a bit imposing. The cruise was expensive enough. I am very disappointed as I had very high hopes for this trip.

Good experience to do once. The team was very professional and you feel that they are used to it!! Good to do once and for a first time. I will for sure do it again but on a more intimate boat. The boat was great, the team also and the food was ok for such a trip!! Ming that if you have issues with boats you should avoid going on a boat that goes on open water!! There were too many people sick (perhaps 10) out of the large group of around 80 people on the boat!! I would recommend for a first visit, and if in April definitely choose the afternoon one as in the morning it would have been too cold with the usual wind!! Also plan a vest to protect of the wind.
