Chateaus were breathtaking, the back ground and interesting facts provided by our guide added much depth to the experience!
Wonderful day visiting the famous chateaus. Our driver and guide Demetri was amazing, full of interesting history, was a safe driver and friendly. The lunch and visit to the private chateau was a real bonus and highlight.
Alex was a great guide. She was very accommodating and answered all our questions. She is a good, comfortable driver. She has a nice voice and good knowledge of the region. Lunch was very good.
the tour was incredible however we felt lunch at the private chateau was not the best . no option for lunch ...you just get what they decide
Our guide, Alex, was super professional. We were a group of English and French speakers, and Alex tirelessly switched between the two languages to ensure everyone was on the same page. Generally, I’m not a history guy, but I enjoyed the historical story Alex brought to us while we enjoyed these magnificent châteaux. The lunch was fantastic and took place in a château, which is quite a treat! We also had an exciting chat about many different contemporary topics, which made the time we spent moving from one place to another quite enjoyable. I wish we could have more time to chat, as Alex was super knowledgeable. I highly recommend booking the tour, especially if you have more than two days in Tours.
