Megale Hellas brings you underwater for recreational and technical diving at all depths, to discover the wonders of the marine world and all that inhabit it, from flora and fauna to submerged wrecks and archaeological remains.

What Can You Expect?

Itinerary

According to sea-weather conditions, we'll choose a spot to go diving, which could be a wreck, a reef, a spot interesting for biodiversity. Then we'll move to the spot (using our minivan) where the dive or the double dives we'll be!

  • Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor

  • This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund

I spent a week training at this excellent diving center in Gioiosa Marina. Very professional and friendly staff made sure to make my week a very positive experience.

We had a fantastic week diving with Megale Hellas on the best wrecks of the Ionian Coast and in the Strait of Messina! Roberta and Francesco are super friendly, know the diving spots perfectly and are highly competent diving guides which is very important when you do tek diving... And all that comes at a very fair price ! We'll go there again without a doubt !

Auf der BOOT in Düsseldorf haben wir Roberta getroffen und sind im Juni 2 Wochen nach Kalabrien gefahren - zum Dive Center Megale Hellas Diving. Ganz untypisch für uns hatten wir die ganze Zeit eine Unterkunft, auch über Roberta, und das Ziel war klar: Viel Tauchen! Im Juni sind in Italien noch keine Ferien, daher hatten wir das Städtchen Marinia die Gioiosa Ionica fast für uns. Das war zu Beginn befremdlich, hat uns aber zunehmend gut gefallen. Und als sich dann zum Ende unserer Zeit das Städtchen füllte, war es auch spannend zu erleben. Ein riesig langer Strand, jede Menge (zum Teil noch geschlossene) Bars, noch ganz entspannte Menschen und eine 1:1-Betreuung beim Tauchen durch Roberta und Francesco wurden durch wirklich tolle Ausflüge entlang der Küste und ins Hinterland ergänzt. Wir haben das sehr genossen und wir sind in der Straße von Messina getaucht (Wow!). Zwischen den Tauchgängen gab es Eis, danach einen kurzen Trip zu einem Aussichtspunkt oder einem Dörfchen in den Bergen. Mit dem Mietwagen und dem Zug haben wir Ausflüge gemacht und wirklich viel gesehen. Also: tolles Team im Tauchcenter, sehenswerte Tauchgänge, tolle Landschaft, viel Kultur und Natur. Ein bisschen Italienisch sprechen schadet nicht:)

Una vacanza perfetta tutto a posto e con persone veramente capaci e coinvolgenti 10 giorni di immersioni speciali grazie a Roberta & Francesco che ci hanno coccolato e accontentato in ogni nostro desiderio. Potrei elencare tutte le immersioni ma un plauso in più alla mitica Scilla.

Disponibilità Professionalità Possibilità di fare immersioni sullo Ionio (fossa cavallucci, relitto Pasubio) e sul Tirreno (Scilla, Pellaro,..)
