Overview

Take in the excitement & beauty of nature and the culture of Turkey. Enjoy a full-day off the beaten track seeing this picturesque area of Oymapınar dam (built on Manavgat river) area where is called green canyon.

The Oymapinar dam is situated 7.5 miles (12 kilometers) north of Manavgat. Constructed between 1977-1984 it is now the fifth largest dam in Turkey. When it was completed it was the third largest dam in Turkey, meanwhile, other dams have been built and it has moved down to fifth place.

Further we will visit a small zoo excluding enterence fee (€ 3,- pp)
Kids love this place.
After the zoo we will eat Gözleme (Turkish Pancake) at a local restaurant. (Excluded, it's up to you if you want).
Panoramic view of Green Canyon, on our way back there are local sellers where you can buy ice-cream or cold drinks.
Kids under 6 who are free of charge sit on your laps, when they need their own lunch they pay extra.
! Pick-up guests from Side & Manavgat hotels only minimum 12 persons.

It’s basically a water fight for most of the trip and you pay more for the best parts which aren’t included in the tour. The water fights got so annoying and you basically get drenched with nowhere to put personal belongings. You pay for the zoo unless your hotel is included. They take you round the lake too and stop at different locations to try get you to spend money. The lunch included with this is basically all vegetables and only meat on kebabs. The only enjoyable thing was the zoo. You pay for a massive water fight overall which gets super annoying and you are never dry especially with kids on the trip it’s less enjoyable as they like to cause as much discomfort as possible during all that. Boat trip wasn’t all that either with a quick circle round and nothing more. I would’ve rather gone to the zoo myself and just done that

Very family friendly and well organized. The only negative thing is that water and soda is not included so had to buy each for 2-3 euro at every stop for the whole family which was overpriced! Bring water and soda with you in a coolbox. Just a heads up! Also you get to rent water guns, so smart thing is to buy them instead before and take them with you on the experience. You will have the funniest water war ever! Enjoy!

I have never seen so beautiful canyon with high rocks. I was surprised very much. Do not hesitate to go there.

We booked this trip for a family of 4 for 70 euros. The water fights on the coach are always quite fun. Apart from that the day is pretty mediocre. The visit to the zoo is very sad because of the conditions in which the animals are kept. Its a concrete jungle and a lot of the animals are kept in small cages which is not nice to see. The dam is ok but not very impressive. The green canyon boat ride is not the same as the pictures advertised. It's OK but not great given that this is the main part of the tour. The swimming in the canyon is good fun and probably the best part of the day. The bbq lunch at the paradise restaurant is not a bbq and is far from paradise... to be honest the food was pretty disgusting. The people that run the tour are very nice though.
