Upon arrival at base camp, get a short introduction and safety briefing from your guide. Before and after your hike up to the summit 1,5 hours, you can relax in our the Mt. Batur base camp lounge, the only one base camp around the area with clean and comfortable toilet facility.

Super Nice driver but horrible people kept asking you to buy drinks However. when vou hike up to the mountains at 3am Suddenly a guy came in between and say hi. I thought it was from the company but he was not. This guy who carried the drinks upstairs and kept telling us to help him to buy water and he had 5 kids that he had to support his family. Already told him 3 times to stop talking, he still asked could you help him to buy some drinks. He went away at the end after I really yelled at him. The lady who hiked with us should have know that all the way at the beginning. However, there was another lady joined our hike but I don't know what she was selling. Then she started askina you "what's your name" without introducing herself. Honestly. it ruined all my mood before I see the amazing feel. We started driving from Ubud at 2:15. Then you start hiking around 3:45am... then vou have to sit on a place for more than one hour but you couldn't go up to the top as there were so many different companies. If you choose other company, you can rest on the top and wait for the sunrise. . This one you cannot

Really Amazing trip, the hike is somewhat challenging in parts and it is slippery coming back down. The views are spectacular. Miss Ayu, our guide was the best guide ever. She helped us during the hike as it was a bit hard at times, made us breakfast and took beautiful pictures. Our driver dodi , was great too. He was kind and friendly. Highly recommend experience.

Description is misleading, I had proper trekking shoes but found it difficult to both ascend and descend and hurt my ankle (!), sand was moving, rocks were slippery. Definitely not recommended for beginners. There should be more information about this hike in the description. They don’t tell you it is difficult so they can charge you 350k rupiah for motorbike help on the toughest part. As for the hot springs - they are nice, but the showers and lockers are in chaos and honestly a tad disgusting. On the other hand, the guide was very nice and communicative, we even shared a smoke on the top :) driver was also good - punctual and fast to reply on WhatsAspp. View from the top was beautiful, but had I known how the hike looks like, I would settle for online pictures and not want to experience it myself.

Truly an unmatched experience, and something I would highly recommend to do while in Bali!cThe hike isn't hard, but definitively worth the view and scenery! Had the pleasure of being guided by Lubak who gave by far the best tour I've been on. A well-spoken and enthusiastic guide who went beyond all expectations!
