What Can You Expect?

Meet your tour guide at 7am a trained specialist and climb a boards custom – built, four-wheel drive vehicle. Your guide is also a certified member of the Mount Batur Guide Association.
You will first visit to explore lava Ball Point. Hop out of the vehicle and feel the incredible Kintamani landscape surround you. You will find a large cave formed form a lava flow and you will wonder if you are a different planet.
The second stop is the volcanic lava flow of 1964. How did happen? Your Guide will give all the answer to you. As The Guide navigates the four-wheel drive vehicle through the lava fields to get there, you will witness the local farmers working in their small fields and vegetable gardens.
To complete your day, stop for lunch and a long soak in the healing waters of Batur Natural Hot spring, enjoy the photographic panorama of beautiful lake Batur from a completely
different angle.

Absolutely loved the sunrise (we got lucky with the weather)! Our driver Kupit picked us up at 4am at our hotel, and drove safely to the transition spot where we would meet our second driver Broto (who has experience driving the Jeep on very rugged road). Broto was amazing and different from the other guides, he first suggested us to climb up the hill at the mountain to have a better view of the sunrise (so worth it). Then he brought along these foldable chairs that were so much more comfortable to sit in while waiting for the sunrise (as opposed to sitting on the ground or some wooden chairs left behind). He helped us take many excellent photos (skills) to remember the day! Then once we finished with the hot spring, our first driver Kupit came back to pick us up immediately, and drove us to a coffee plantation (fun to taste the coffee), and brought us to eat lunch at a yummy restaurant! Kupit was really nice to chat with throughout our ride, and drives super well. Thanks Broto and Kupit for making our day. Lots of fun. Bonnie

Gede Dastra our amazing driver made the tour when he picked us up bright and early this morning at 6am with a very big smile on his face which didn’t change for the entire day, the tour was also quite fun but my girlfriend started feeling sick so we rushed it a little again thanks the Gede Dastra for making our day.

Was a long day, but a awesome day. Lava off road drive, hot spring swimming, coffee platasjon and lunsj with nice jungel veiw. Our guide was friendly and helpfull all day. All in all worth every money this trip cost. Nice way to spend the day. Thank you
