My husband and I had a great day with this experience! Everything was smooth from the second our driver Kupit picked us up right at our villa until he dropped us back off. The sunrise was beautiful, our guide Maggie made sure we were comfortable the entire way up and down. Breakfast was an added bonus at the top! After the hike, Kupit took us to a coffee plantation where we tasted locally made coffees and teas followed by a beautiful waterfall. He was extremely informative, teaching us all about Balinese culture through the day. Kupit and Maggie were very pleasant and helpful and I would recommend them both for this trip!

Had a great trip with our crew as we walked Mount Batur. It’s a tough getup at 1:30am but it was a great day. Our driver Begong was amazing, looked after us all day and navigated Bali traffic.

Hiking Mount Batur was a highlight of our time in Bali! It’s more strenuous than we expected (1,5hrs steep uphill and about an hour downhill) but the view at sunrise was spectacular! Even with lots of fog and some clouds it was magical! Pasek was our driver and he was great! After the hike he took us to a coffee plantation and to see the Manuaba waterfall. It was challenging to walk to see the waterfall after the volcano hike as my knees were hurting from the downhill but it was totally worth it!

The trek itself was very well organised with experienced guides. We had Wayan who was very patient and considerate! It’s not an easy climb though Our driver Wayan Lestari was friendly and super helpful

This was a very unique day. Although it’s a very early start, the sunrise at the top is well worth it. Fair warning, the hike is very physically challenging, however there is the option to dirt bike to the top (at own expense). Our driver Dekwan was very helpful and stayed with us the throughout the day. He guides us around the waterfalls and was a very good photographer. Would definitely recommend.
