- 12.00 - 13.30 : Pick up time depending your accommodation in Bali, From your hotel will drive direct to Restaurant which is our partner then after lunch drive to start point at Toya Bungkah
- 3.45 pm : Arrival at starting point, introduction and safety procedure briefing by our experience professional hiking guide(Association of mount Batur trekking guides)
- 4.00 pm : our guide will take you on a one and a half hour trek to reach the top or summit to see sunset and walk around the crater
- 5.45 pm : water, bread and eggs will served by our guide and see super spectacular sunset if weather permitted
- 6.15 pm : From the summit, direct to car park
- 8.00 am : You will arrive at the bottom
- 9.00 pm - 10.30 pm : estimated Return to hotel Depending on the hotel location

Booked the trip with confirmation on the same day. Putu Pande is fluent in English and arrived ahead of time for the pick up to Mt Batur. The ride was smooth even though it took 2 plus hours. He was a good and safe driver. The hike up was tiring but worth it. Glad we did sunset as there there hardly anyone (met only 2 other couples for the whole hike). Guide JRO was friendly and patient. He created 2 instant walking poles for us and that helped greatly...hiking tip: hiking poles and hikking boots would helped (we went up with our running xero shoes) especially if you are not a frequent hiker. Even then some paths of loose rocks and gravel require more balance and the pole made the difference for us. Beautiful, quiet sunset..we had the place all to ourselves... no vendors asking us to buy anything..but JRO bought us some tea (don't know how/where the seller appeared) and with the volcano eggs plus banana sandwich that he made, wonderful! Thankful the skies cleared intermittently for us to catch glimpse of Mt Agung, the valley n even parts of sun setting. Hike down was through another route that motor bikes used..easier path but still require some care at some steep part (and loose sands). Headlamps were provided. All in, wonderful hike, good prelude to Rinjani. And no regrets about sunset hike... didn't have to wake up at insane hr, no crowds to jostle against!

Amazing experience, Putu our driver was fantastic and our guide up the mountain was great too. Amazing views up the mountain despite being too cloudy at sunset to see this. We were the only ones up there too which made for a really special experience. Highly recommend!

Fantastic sunset tour up Mt Batur with Putu Anton, our driver, and Gede, our tour guide. Putu picked us up bang on time, ordered our fabulous lunch at the restaurant then off to meet Gede for the ascend. Spectacular views and beautifully boiled eggs. It is cold at the top so take a jumper to keep you warm while you wait for the sun to rise or set. A trip to remember!

Just finished our tour. We had a fantastic time. Putu was a wonderful driver and gave us extra tidbits of information throughout our trip. Made was our climbing guide. He was phenomenal with my 68 year old mother who could only make it part of the way up. Highly recommend this tour!

Well that was great. Special thanks to Gede Edi our driver and Wayan Budiawan the guide. They were both great. I chose the sunset hike as timing was good, pichup 12.30pm (instead of 1.30am for sunrise). Also very few on the mountain at this time. Lunch was good at a restaurant with fantastic views. Hike was challenging so some fitness is required. Going down in the dark so tough but uiu are given a headlamp. Wayan is a great help and a great photographer, he took so many awesome photos for me. Professional and friendly. Highly recommended.
