Normally a Hindu worship is done privately, but this worship ceremony is done on the river bank of Ganges openly and publicly. It is only of its kind, therefore attracts thousands of people daily to witness it. This Hindu ritual of saying thanks is very unique and surreal. It started a few years ago but making its importance rapidly to the world.

The ceremony takes place on small wooden steps at the edge of the ghat. 7 young priests in vermillion saffron perform a synchronized prayer ceremony for 45 minutes.

The ceremony marks an end when priest pours water in the river and chant prayers. This is followed by people offering lamps and flower pots into the river. As the prayer concludes the lamps are immersed into the waters. A belief goes here that before this evening prayer ceremony begins if somebody leaves a lighted lamp in the holy water of Ganges, with a wish in his mind, his wish will come true soon. This act is one of the very simple yet very fulfilling and trusted.

We went on a private tour, to perform the rituals of my elder brother who passed away 25 days ago at Bengaluru. All were performed at Manikarnika ghat and other things were done at Preist's place, Swaminarayana temple, of Benares. Lord Vishvanath's darshan was very much appreciated. The ambiance is clean, friendly. Now it is very spacious, and approchable.

Fabulous trip to varanasi , I have visited varanasi on the eve of Maha shivaratri. It is so fabulous.Reaching to varasani by train or plane is convenient. Some people are visiting by bus also anyway, those are covering all the visiting places by bus itself. It is known that in varanasi one crore Shiva Lingas are present. If we visit all , we will get mukthi.108ghats are there, in which Dashwamedha is known as main ghat.Ganga harati mahotshava will be in the evening at 6: 45 pm.Boating, tourist guide facility, near temples, annapurna mandir, Banaras Hindu University, Diesel Locomotive Works are all present there and they will make our day extraordinary. But village culture will be observed, and non veg availability causing negative things.
