We contacted Vivekji for our trip to Benaras after we heard about their incredible service from our dear friend. From day one whether it was regarding planning or pickup from the airport or visiting us to welcome to the city at the hotel to bid us goodbye, the team and their service have been extraordinary. The experience of Varanasi through our guide Rohitji’s wording has been phenomenal. We really have no words to portray it. His aim was to acclimatize us to the culture of Benaras. But I must point out it certainly went beyond our knowledge. Seeing the smiling face of our driver Pankajji in Rain or Shine was so delightful. And those stories about the city and people, recommending the best places to eat plus guidance on being careful certainly add another star to this appraisal. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience and for treating us just like your family. We look forward to seeing you all soon. Warm Regards, Doshi family.

I enjoyed my experience with Tour Varanasi. Once contact was made via email, Vimal was very responsive via WhatsApp and put together an itinerary for me. My tour guide Bharat was lovely and knowledgeable and further customised the itinerary to my needs as I wanted to see the hot air balloon glowing by the Ganges one evening. I felt well taken care of as a solo female traveller and Vimal had also organised a pick up and drop off with taxi driver and guide who greeted me at the airport exit. Very good and corteous service at a very reasonable price compared to other operators, and I can highly recommend Tour Varanasi.

I highly recommend the Tour Varanasi team. I was nervous to travel in the region as a solo woman and had a great experience in Varanasi thanks to coordinators Vimal and Sujeet, the driver, Pankaj, and our guide, Bharat. They went out of their way to arrange a car pick up for me and one other traveler from Lucknow and went above and beyond as guides in the region. I appreciated their friendliness, respectfulness, and knowledge. They communicated clearly through Whatsapp which also helped put me at ease during the planning process and while in Varanasi. They were happy to adjust the itinerary to meet our needs, as welI. I'd encourage travelers to plan ahead for payment, which ended up being difficult for us to do because of the ATM limits and availability (many machines were out of order). It led to some friction at the end of the trip. Overall, I highly recommend their tours.

This tour covered off all the cool places I had researched about Varanasi. It was truly amazing. The staff were friendly, punctual and professional. We immediately felt comfortable with them and would totally recommend them to anyone looking for a tour that covers it all. Thank you for the wonderful memories, we had a blast. If you are ever thinking of going to Varanasi for a few days, then this is the company for you. We had the 2 night/3 day tour which, because of our flight times, was condensed into two half days and one full day. However, such was the efficiency of our driver and guides, that we had no problem covering all the items on our itinerary and never felt we were being rushed. We started off with a walking tour through the tiny alleyways where we saw the various markets (spice, flower, fruit and veg, textiles etc) and our guide took us to places we probably would never have seen had we been left to our own devices. We then went down to the Ganges for a canoe trip down to the main Ghat where we saw the cremations happening. We learn't much about Lord Shiva and why this is one of the most sacred places for Hindus (not only is there a major temple to him here, but also, they believe that the Ganges flows from his hair). We were also taken on an evening boat ride, from where we were able to watch the daily aarti ceremony (religious ritual of worship). Another sight that we probably would't have found by ourselves, was an Indian school of wrestling which was interesting to see. Also, we were taken to a major Buddhist temple and a lovely old weaving shop where the goodness knows how old "Master" was plying his trade on a very old loom, where the design is sketched out and then transferred somehow onto cardboard punch cards which are then fed through in order, so the Master knows exactly when to change the threads. We also saw an even older loom which can use up to 30 different coloured silk threads at the same time, but amazingly, this one has to be used from memory as there are no written down patterns. Unfortunately, this seems to be dying out as the youngsters no longer want to keep it going. So, to sum up, this was a great tour - well organised, efficient, with friendly and informative guides and driver. They will also tailor your tour to your needs. Highly recommended.
