rocky monastery dated from XI-XII centuries A.D. Nowadays monastery is not active but it is only a museum sight. We will visit rocky dwellings of the monks and the museum where we can find additional info about the history of the monastery.

Albena Resort is a seaside resort with more than 40 hotels from 2 to 5 stars. More than half of its territory is a natural protected area - reserve Baltata famous with the most northern dense forest in Europe – “longoz"

Stop At: Palace and Botanical Gardens of Balchik, West of Town 2 km 1 Acad. Daki Yordanov Str., Balchik 9600 Bulgaria

Botanical garden and the summer residence of Romanian queen Maria and its beautifully arranged park.
Botanical garden of Balchik is famous with its huge collection of plants - more than 3000 plants species and of course the 2nd biggest collection of large-sized cactuses n Europe - more than 600 species. Summer residence of Queen Maria /Regina Maria/ is a beautifully arranged complex created in 20s years of XX century by famous Swiss architecturer Jules Jani.

Stop At: Cape Kaliakra, 12 km from Kavarna, Dobrich 9660 Bulgaria

Cape Kaliakra – astonishing beautiful place with more than 60 meters high above the sea cliffs. There we will visit the ruins of old medieval fortress – XII-XIV centuries. You will get to know ancient story of this magnificent place. We will admire wonderful views from the edge of the cliffs and will watch (if lucky) the dolphins play.

Stop At: Tyulenovo Rocks, Tyulenovo 9684 Bulgaria

Tyulenovo (tyulen – seal in Bulgarian), called that way because there used to live a lot of seals from the specie – monk seal . There are beautiful natural surroundings, fantastic for your pictures.

Stop At: Shabla Lighthouse, Easternmost Point of Bulgaria, Shabla Bulgaria

Cape Shabla is the most eastern geografical point of Bulgaria. Shabla lighthouse is the oldest and highest from all lighthouses on Bulgarian Black Sea coast

We can only recommend this tour. I booked this excursion for my four-year-old son and me and although historical sights are boring for small children, our guide managed to get my son excited about the beauty of the places. He was both a children's entertainer and a tour guide at the same time. As an adult, you also learn a flood of historical knowledge. In short, this private tour is suitable for anyone interested in Bulgarian and regional culture and history, as well as for families with children.

What a great tour! The guide is extremely knowledgeable, and he goes out of his way to ensure you have the best time! This is a great way to hit the highlights in the area. I learned a lot about the Varna area, with a diverse range of topics and discussions. Plus, the guide catered to my interests, which is so important when you spend a day together! I also never felt rushed. I absolutely recommend booking this tour. The sites are all must-see, and the stories were very interesting. He also speaks perfect English! Lastly, I have mobility issues, and he made sure I was comfortable and helped me when I needed assistance. Thank you for a wonderful day!

Excellent tour which can be customized to your interests. Strahil spoke perfect English and was friendly, flexible and engaging. As we would reach a site he would provide a story which would give you context to the location, for example he could tell you about Queen Marie of Romania and her insight and inspiration for the botanical gardens of Balchik Palace. He would explain the myths of Cape Kaliakra. Most importantly he gauged the tour around your interests, capabilities and needs. If you are looking for an excellent daytrip, I highly recommend this tour. You get excellent value for money, comfortable and clean amenities, and a well versed tour guide. Beyond my son's wedding, this was my favorite event while in Bulgaria. I highly recommend.

The trip was amazing, we managed to see a lot of attractions, snapped also a few great shots on the way while having fun! The guide’s explanations were really good time-oriented with precise time orientation, he was able to provide the years for all of this guides. Be prepared for the trip in advance, grab a hat & a pair of sunglasses in order to get some protection from the sun, in July the sun is burning a little bit so take precautions.

Well balanced with history, stories, site viewing, nature attractions. i really enjoy wonderful unique nature of north black sea coast and compony of such nice guide.
