Good way to get a feel for the islands . For us the time allocation was not so good. Too much time on Murano, not enough time on Torcello, long walk to the sites from dock , Burano , late in the day no time for lace museum, also church was closed. We are not shoppers, not good for us
This was a nice way to spend a day seeing the different islands. My husband and I went on the Full-Day Venice Lagoon Tour Murano Burano and Torcello By Consorzio Vidali Group for $32 for each adult. It was a six-hour tour for all three islands. Each boat ride in between was about 30 minutes and the visits on the islands were an hour or more. The tour guide was friendly and gave information in a number of languages. It was a good outing for the day. We weren't looking to buy glass, so we found Murano interesting, but we could have seen a demonstration and been done there in 20 minutes. Burano's houses and lace were absolutely delightful. Candy shops and gelato widely available. There were a number of cafes, too. We really loved it there. Torcello had a couple of places to eat and the small museum and the small church which charges admission. The first restaurant at Torcello scooped up all the visitors. It was an outdoor picnic table place with affordable and delicious food - definitely not fancy. The next restaurant up the road was fancier and looked really nice, but empty. We enjoyed visiting all three islands!
Loved island hopping they were all different 🥰 we had fun different food flavors in each one had a blast
Glad i didn't pay any more than €30 . It was the same price as a one day travel pass for the ferries. You could bearly hear the tour guide over the drone of the boat engines. The glass blowing show was interesting but would have been nice to have spent more than an hour at murano. Torcello was lovely, but again only had an hour here. Bearly time to visit the basilica before returning to the boat. Stated that we would get a tour of the relics on torcello, but we were just dropped off at the dock. Burano was beautiful. Had slightly more time here. Didn't have time too eat a nice meal, just a snack and go. Arrived back 40min early.
I was very disappointed in this tour.it says English guide but we were the only two English people on this tour. It was very hard to hear what the guide was saying because of the loud engine on the boat. She spoke in Italian, Spanish, and English but by the time we passed a landmark we would have passed it when she was speaking in English. I did enjoy the glass blower but we didn’t even see a lace demonstration. When we got off the boat she said stay as a group we are going to a biscuit place. We went to a store and was given a half of some type of cookie. After that , we were on our own. The tour states we would be returning to the same pickup place which we were but we had to get off our boat and get on another one for the remaining tour. You would be better off taking the Vaporetta there on your own and spending less than six hours of your day. You really only needed about three hours total to see everything. I would NOT recommend this tour!!!
