We booked our tour through La Vacanza Travel (Venice Tours). After a confusing start we met our guide Gloria who was absolutely fantastic. She had great knowledge and took the time to tell us all about the history of the Doges' Palace. We were able to take plenty of photos and we didn't feel rushed. We came away feeling very happy and thought the tour was fantastic value for money.
Doges Palace is beyond amazing with so much history and beautiful architecture. Pick up for the tickets was quick and easy with the help of the people at the business. Downloading the app and audio was a bit of a struggle due to lack of quality phone service, however the experience was great.
Skip the line tickets still required waiting in entry line but associates at the travel agency office were kind and helpful. The VR experience was gimmicky but we still enjoyed it and as an included bonus was a worth while experience. Might be better to just buy skip the line tickets through the museums directly.
Running round like a headless chicken trying to pick the tickets up because they wouldn’t download to the phone
The audio guide was very temperamental. Everything else all worked well and easy to use and generally clear as long as you read the booking instructions properly
