Great value for money. Pick up direct from our hotel by private speed boat. Very upfront and personal at the glass factory watching 8 masters all working in perfect harmony. Both tour guides were excellent and very knowledgeable.

Was well worth it! Antonella Zanoni was fantastic. She called us the morning of to let us know they were running late but not to worry they would be picking us up soon. She explained a lot about the history while the boat took us to Murano Island...Once there we had a great demonstration and explanation. My only criticism is that the owners voice was not load enough so it was difficult to hear him over the furnaces.
Not having an idea how to get back to hotel Antonella looked after everything - getting us onto the proper direct boat taxi and even walked us back to our hotel so we wouldn't get lost.

This was an excellent tour. Our tour guide, Martina, was personable and professional. She was very knowledgeable about Venice and it's history, and very willing to answer questions.

Ketti was a fantastic tour guide. The water taxi trip was great, and the tour of the church was a nice bonus. Glass blowing was interesting, but be prepared to get the semi-hard sell in the glass shop. Ketti also made us a reservation at the best restaurant in Borano for risotto.

There is no hotel pickup. Met the rep who promptly arrived at the hotel on time and took us to a nearby church, which is a walking distance. After that we walked to the glass factory and stayed for at least one hour. The rep gave us a choice of taking us via water taxi to San Marco but we declined, as we were there a day before.
Overall, you will be amazed with the factory and its glass collection. It definitely warms the eyes but puts a deep hole in your pocket if you opt to buy!
