We will begin our tour among the majestic columns of St. Mark's Square, under the doge's balcony, among the oldest cafes in Europe and the rocking of gondolas. Head to the most authentic bacaro in Venice, run by the fifth generation of this family, an institution for Venetians and tourists alike. Here we will taste classic Venetian cicchetti accompanied with a good Aperol or Select spritz.

Next we will wander through the calli and bridges, heading to the least touristy area of the city, Castello.

An area still inhabited by Venetians where everyone greets each other by name. We will taste like true sommeliers a bottle of local wine paired with a board of sliced meats, in the shadow of the most important Orthodox church in Italy.
