One of the most significant highlights of your Jewish Ghetto Venice tour is a series of bas-reliefs in the Campo del Ghetto Nuovo–and your guide will tell you why. Sadly, it’s a sight most visitors to Venice often miss.

I found this tour good, but not great. Claire was engaging and dynamic. But the narration was a bit inefficient and repetitive — we all felt that this 2 hour tour could have been done in 1 hour. We all learned a lot and the guide was responsive and informative. It just could have been tighter

The elaborate information provided by our tour guide was terrific. She was interesting and inspiring. The art work and structures are unique and very meaningful for the community of those times and present day.

We did the three hour tour that included the Synagogues. The first part of the tour was about two hours and we explored the Jewish Ghetto. We learned a lot about its fascinating changing history throughout the centuries. The second part of the tour was about one hour and we visited two Synagogues. Both were impressive and different from the other. Both our guides were terrific and informative. I really enjoyed learning more about this special part of Venice.

This trip was especially meaningful to me because one of my ancestors lived here in 1475. It was amazing to walk the same streets that he may have more than 500 years ago. The guides were very knowledgeable about Jewish history in Venice.
