Stop At: Colonna di San Marco e San Teodoro, Piazza San Marco, 31024 Venice Italy

The tour will begin at Column of San Marco. This square is known to be the world’s most beautiful drawing room, you’ll see it for yourself once you visit it. The guide will give a brief historical introduction of the most powerful maritime empire of the Mediterranean Sea. In this square, there are some of the most famous buildings that the guide will point out to you as you continue the tour.

In this square, you’ll be introduced to the St Mark’s Basilica, the cathedral church of Venice, the symbol of the city with its Byzantine-style cupolas with its golden mosaics and priceless bronze and golden horses coming from Costantinopoli. Great first intro into Venice. Perfect for familiarizing us with the area and giving us a little history of the beautiful sights to see in Venice. Very inexpensive for the 2 hour walking tour we did.

Excellent way to visit the most important monuments in Rome. Guide was very informative. We didn’t even have to walk alot because he took us really close and took our pictures! Highly recommended 😎
