No tour guide showed up! I had to call them and wait for another 20mins until they told me the tour was cancelled. Horrible experience. Stay away

The guide was execelent she told everything very clearly and was extremely informative. She had a great sense of humor which she incorporated in the tour. Lastly the earpieces to hear her worked well, no problems losing connection. I would recommend using this tour to people.

I went during the off-season and thoroughly enjoyed myself. The palace was almost deserted, the palace and garden wowed me, and The Hamlet was fascinating to view, although several buildings were under construction during my visit (as was the whole of Paris, LOL), which is to be anticipated at this time of year. I would recommend dedicating an entire day to this activity. I was there from 3:30 to 7:00 p.m. and wished I had seen more! Make a reservation for your admittance ahead of time.

A dazzling experience! Inside, an incredible display of the best of a time gone by. And outside, stunning gardens. A must-see when you want a day outside of Paris!

Private tours are always better because of the explanations and the ease of getting in. During peak periods crowds are certainly a factor. Once in the palace, it is fairy easy to move around. Gardens are a delight and do not feel as crowded. This place is a must-see for sheer beauty and architecture. It will take a full day to do it right. I would see the gardens in the afternoon and do the castle in the morning.
