Our docent, Isabel was a breath of fresh spring air! Her skill and adeptness at guiding our group of tourists through the throng-filled palace was superb. She was “fluid in the flow”, never flustered by the pressing masses. As veteran school teachers from America, my wife and I are quite familiar with managing large groups of all ages, and conveying huge amounts of understanding and information to them. Isabel was a master at this! Her truly effervescent nature, her charm and humor buoyed our sometimes flagging energy. Her command of the subject and intimate knowledge of the palace, and all of its inhabitants was astonishing, and she seemed to create a bridge of feelings, linking our emotions with the those of the French nobility of those times. Through her explanations and illustrations, we felt a definite connection with those early residents. Perhaps Isabel has some theatrical background— her persona was so lively it made the tour feel almost like a performance. We enjoyed her energy as much as we did the palace! At the end of the tour, there were NO questions—she had so completely immersed us in knowledge, facts and deeper understanding! We were amazed not only at the extent of her knowledge, but at her ability to convey it so specifically, allowing us what seemed to be a very deep insight into the going is on of the court of Versailles. Though we were too tired to continue with the gardens tour, we were just thrilled, and very appreciative of the Palace tour portion, and with Isabel’s effort, grace and charm. We felt a definite resonance with Versailles, with France, and with French history! If Isabel is a representative of your company, then you have a very fine and incredible company, indeed! The 2.5HR VERSAILLES TOUR - PALACE & GARDENS - $95 per person - was great! The tour was organized, timely, informative & efficient. The group was of about 10 people - reasonable size - our tour guide had an orange flag to spot him easily - & we were given audio/earphone aids to hear him while he explained the history. It was very informative & worth the price! Thank You!

Our guide Marion was wonderful. There were a lot of people there and the skip the line was definitely worth while.The extra garden tour was definitely worth it and we got to see the dancing fountains before they were shut down for the winter. Easy to find meeting point and very friendly staff. Thank you
