Entry points staff had no idea how to convert La Vacanza Travel issued tickets. You need an entry point issued ticket to gain access. Don’t bother with this offer.

The entrance to the gardens is FREE. La Vacanza Travel sends you a useless barcode. The online support was rude and did not help. Do not buy.

Visited the gardens of Versailles on a Saturday afternoon in the middle of summer. It was very crowded and overwhelming. Had difficulty with the ticket agents not recognizing the tickets provided on the app and needed help from his supervisor to finally let us in. I didn’t download the VoiceMap app prior and therefore didn’t maximize the experience inside. In my defense I got it downloaded but it seemed like way too much to try and listen to on my phone. Almost impossible to share the tour w the 4 in my family regardless. The only benefit of this package was not having to wait in a line to get the tickets.

We weren’t allowed entrance to the tour because our screen shot picture of the ticket wouldn’t respond to the scanner. We didn’t have cell service to open the e-ticket.

The experience could be improved by advising customers that the gardens are free to enter and the charge is purely for an audio tour which you have to down load prior to the tip. This audio tour has nothing whatsoever to do with any official tours which are arranged by the Palace. I tried to cancel the booking but when I clicked on the link to do this there was no booking to show. I have tried contact tripadvisor numerous times for a refund but have not received a response. Do not book this tour through Trip advisor it’s a rip off. If you do want to book of tour of the inside of Versailles use the official website. I’m extremely disappointed in this service.
