Isabell was a great guide. Funny and very accommodating to everyone. This was a very long day, but we were able to see some amazing views of the Versailles grounds. Isabell took us to fun little places that we would have missed if we took the self-guided tour. Highly recommend the fun day, but be aware. There is a lot of walking. My husband and I are somewhat fit people, and we were tired after the day. Loved every minute! Would not recommend the full day for children.

Too much walking. I would have combined a bike or golf cart for the garden and Triannon portion. Our guide Laura was fun, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about all facets of the tour. You can tell she loves her job and French history.

The gardens

Whilst a lot of people know about how beautiful the palace is, the gardens are a work of art and just go on for ever! You can hire a golf buggy to get around to all of them. They are simply stunning!
