Jose, my guide was very knowledgable on the Valle de Mai forrest trail. I learnt a lot about the palm trees and their history etc. I do think given the small area of this pkace maybe rour should no charge as much of a fee.
Trip was ok, I liked it. The guide was very friendly,but I think that time we spent in park was too short and we were on Anse Lazio beach too but it was to long time there for me. I would rather stay longer in Valee de mai

This trip is nothing more than a taxi ride to the entrance of the vallee de mai, and the entrance fee. The entrance fee is 350 scr (€25) which was included in the tour, when you enter you can participate in a group tour for €10 or a personal guide for €65. (Which both is not included) I’d recommend not to book this tour but just take a taxi whenever you like. You spend about 1.5 hrs inside the vallee and it is truly lovely. Make sure you take the guide at the entrance as they know exaclty what to look for and can tell you many things about the animals and plants.
Die Tour mit Jose war einfach fantastisch. Man erfährt so viel über das Valle de Mai und die mystischen Geschichten rund um die Coco de Mer. Jose konnte uns eine Vielfalt von Tieren und Pflanzen zeigen und hatte immer eine Geschichte dazu. Abholung und Rückfahrt in einem sehr komfortablen SUV und super Pünktlich. Alles war bestens organisiert. Vielen Dank!!
