Experience the sheer joy of riding a Segway as you 'glide' effortlessly to the summit of Mt.Victoria the highest volcanic cone on Auckland's North Shore. Your tour guide will tell you the secrets of the mountain and the iconic mushrooms as you enjoy the spectacular close up 360 degree views of Auckland City and the Hauraki Gulf. You'll have ridden through the back street of the village to admire the beautifully restored Victorian Villas, past beaches and through parks on your way to the mountain. With a maximum of 6 people per tour your guide will spend one to one time with you teaching you to ride a Segway and you'll have plenty of time to practice before you leave on the tour. Every day of the week you have 3 scheduled times to choose from in the Summer and 2 scheduled times in the Winter months. Being a small historic seaside village with stunning views, a quiet charming atmosphere and lots of open spaces it's one of the best locations anywhere in the world for a Segway Tour.

The highest Volcanic cone on Auckland's North Shore. We Segway to the Summit where your tour guide will point out places of interest and tell you about the history of this liocation. The 360 degree views ae spectaular

  • A small amount of walking is involved on the North Head Tour.

Pauline was a great guide and gave us a fabulous tour of the North Auckland area and Mt Victoria. The Segways were in good condition and everything went as planned.

Pauline was so friendly and fun and made sure everyone was comfortable on their Segways before we began our tour. During the tour, we rode along the coastline of Devonport, then through neighborhoods and up to the peak of Mt. Victoria. Pauline shared the history and pointed out interesting things of the area around us as we went along. Once at the top of Mt. Victoria, we had ample time to enjoy the spectacular view, including the Auckland skyline, and to take photos. Thank you, Pauline!

Segways are a kick to ride. At 66 years old, I had no trouble learning to ride and our guide was very knowledgeable and safe. She had to practice for a bit on uneven ground knowing that our path would take us on grassy and bumpy terrain. At first I was a bit intimidated even though I've ridden one many years before, but with the practice, I felt confident. Our guide was also the owner and she was very friendly and talked with passion about her home town. We got to chatting so much that we had to hurry to get back to catch our ferry back to Auckland to catch our cruise ship. I would recommend this experience for teenagers and above and certainly for seniors.

We had a wonderful afternoon with Pauline, owner of this company. She expertly guided us through all sections of Devonport, occasionally stopping to explain the architecture and history of the area she clearly loves. We ascended Mt Victoria and viewed this beautiful city from the top. This was a relaxing and educational experience.
