Visit art galleries in Oneroa, including an artists’ collective and the Community Art Gallery.

Tour the local sculpture park and learn about this intriguing array of outdoor art.

Visit sculptors and painters in their studios - and even get to meet an artisan shoemaker!

Have lunch (included in the price) at an artist's home.

Walk through the Atawhai-Whenua Forest & Bird Reserve to the Ferry Terminal or Community Gallery where we finish.

Our Art Walk takes approximately five hours and is done at a very leisurely pace so you can enjoy both the art and the scenery around you. A fun way to meet some nice people and enjoy the lovely island. So much beautiful and creative art to see! A great way to tour around some different areas of the island as well. Would recommend!

What a fun tour! The group size was small, so Nicky was able to customize the tour a bit. 🩵 Lunch on the bluff was delicious and I learned about local artists in addition to the natural surroundings. The cost of the tour was slightly high, but I think it was worth it and would recommend the tour to others.

Our time on Waiheke Island was amazing. Nicky, our tour guide, took us around the galleries on the main road of the island and if felt like walking through a large, live outdoor art museum. We also visited a sanctuary garden and looked over scenic country and beach views of Waiheke. We learned so much about its rich history, as well as the current lifestyle of the locals. By far, this was the best part of our Australia/New Zealand trip.

It was an extraordinary tour. Gabrielle made me feel like she was showing me her own island and the artworks and artists on it. I have traveled to many countries, and this was one of the most memorable tours I’ve ever had. Thank you Gabrielle for giving me such a special day.

The tour was very interesting and we did things that would not have been possible on our own. Lunch with the artist at an artist’s studio and home was very special. The Sacred Blessing Sanctuary gardens were spectacular and one of the highlights of our three week expedition to both islands. A wonderful day trip from Auckland with delightful people.
