My family and I had a wonderful day with Robin, our dedicated and friendly tour guide. He took us to see many lakes along our journey, including Ullswater, Windermere and Buttermere. We even got the chance to walk around Aira Force Waterfalls and received a good recommendation for lunch at a local pub in Keswick. He also took care to include several less-known gems such as the St John’s Well, and provided great insight into Lake District’s history with each landmark we visited. My family and I would definitely recommend this trip and Robin as the tour guide! It was a relaxing experience as the journey was personalised and flexible. We learned a great deal about the history of Lake District and its many charms, and have many beautiful photos to remember them by. We hope to visit again soon!

We did the winter version of the 10 Lakes in a day tour. Our driver for the day was Tess and she was brilliant. Her commentary throughout was informative and entertaining. At every stage her focus was on us and getting the most from the day. This is the second Mountain Goat tour that we’ve done and I’m sure it won’t be the last.

Mountain Goat Tour lived up to its expectations. They greeted us, through Mark, at Windermere Train Station and made their very best efforts to provide a brilliant service - and I must say that Mark did a very fantastic job whilst he drove us through such an amazing place with brilliant scenery. THANK YOU MARK! I sincerely recommend the tour to potential visiting tourists. *Just in case you were wondering why there is no tour including the Lake Cruise during winter times, that is because it is not possible and that service only resumes during summer time. Once again, thank you Mountain Goat, thank you MARK. FULL MARKS!
