On the whole a fun day out. This was probably because most children had gone back to school after the Easter holiday. Queues weren’t too long, waited no more than 10 mins to get onto a ride. Staff we encountered were polite and helpful. Food prices extortionately high, take out a loan. The reason I’m only giving a 3 mark is because of the food prices and the fact that you have to pay for parking.

eye wateringly expensive, the cost of entry is pretty high to begin with, but you'd expect that a premium attraction commands premium prices, but i wasn't prepared for the daylight robbery, food is insanely expensive, 1 scoop of ice-cream was around 5 pound, hot dogs for nearly 10 pound, a stay in the hotel was about 200 pound per night. we chose to stay in a external hotel which was so worth it, you even have to pay to park at the resort, 12 pound or so, and for some bizarre reason you pay on exit, so you cant even turn away if you disagree. the world famous statues of buildings in the city part of the resort are old faded and looking really poor, i recall going 15 years ago, and I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same Lego bricks still standing, all faded and dirty. the rides are ok, they have invested heavily in these 4D rides, basically a movie you watch, some have chairs the move or water that squirts on you, there ok, but once you've done it once you have little interest to go back. the roller coasters are ok, they're quite short and the ques are long, there's no urge to go back to one afterwards. and the reserve and ride is really infuriating, having to pay allot more money just to enjoy the attractions that you pay for in the entry. because its usually busy, people queuing for the limited attractions, if you don't pay the extra you really miss out. everything is designed to squeeze every penny out of you, at the cost of your enjoyment. which you feel so conflicted because your kids just want to go on rides and have fun. will not be going back, and would not recommend others to go.

Park had promise, none of the staff look happy, park clearly don’t employ landscapers as lots of well rooted weeds in flower beds. Concrete was dirty, years worth, odd pressure wash of things would be nice when park closes. They don’t care about making it sparkle for kids as assume kids will ignore filthy areas! May be good if kids under 5, but that assumes your kids can handle smokers blowing nicotine in your kids face that staff couldn’t care less about. And yes there are smoking point’s. Like drink drivers, most flout law. When I reported a smoker to a staff member, was ignored and staff member turned back on me. Staff more concerned about job retention than customer safety/ welfare. Lets then mention the scum kids! If your kids do not know every profanity under the sun, they will do! The mouth on some parents is blue, their kids turn the air bluer. Mainly effing and jeffing about shane or shauna being a little xyxyx at too of their voice. Cost for my family of 4 was £600 day visit without fuel from 100 miles away. UK CEO of Legoland UK probably sleeps well and couldn’t care leas about mere mortals. Scott… shame on you! Lego aint a surf brand son! Frankly was filthy, food was appalling, £100+ for a cold burger and juice served from Tetra Pak cartons. Utterly embarrassing for a brand to serve such garbage to customers. The “burgers” colder than an autopsy table with smelly greasy chips, tasted week old oil! So called homemade coleslaw was worse than Tesco value. The worst food I have ever experienced at any theme park, sports arena or frankly anywhere!

Kids loved it. We had a fairly long wait for some of the rides, but we were expecting that. Largely speaking rides were fun and the wait times weren't rediculous. We got the general impression though that the park is poorly maintained and is being rinsed for all its worth. On the day that we were there - Flight of the Sky Lion broke down after wed been stood in the queue for 45 mins .. unfortunate but these things happen .. they were able to fix it within 15 mins so we were able to ride. Lego Ninjago had been broken most of the day, however we dropped lucky and were able to get on as it was opening (approx 3pm) so avoided a long queue for what i would assume is a popular ride. The pirate log flume broke down whilst we were actually on it, so were sat there slightly damp after having come down the main run whilst we were waiting to disembark. I get that stuff breaks down but this was 3 separate rides on the same day .. we'd heard tales of other rides breaking down whenever it gets warm (from staff members) The food stands / stalls are just expensive, if you can take lunch with you do!! we were in the hotel the night before so didn't have much of a choice other than to pay the exorbitant prices. On the theme of things breaking down .. once the park was closed, whilst heading back to the car - my wife witnessed two fire engines arrive, it transpires that one of the lifts had broken down in the hotel and the fire service were presumably there to rescue the trapped in habitants of said lift.

Terrible. I do not recommend anyone to go to Legoland Windsor, only if you want to punish your child to put them through the most boring day possible then you can, for sure, use Legoland Windsor as punishment. It's a very sad way to promise your child a day full of fun but all he gets is a day of standing in line. The most boring day possible.
