Day 2: The "BIG3" Alpine Passes of Scenic Switzerland
Stop At: Lake Lucerne, Lucerne Switzerland
Your carefully selected scenic route will take you past wide green meadows and rollin hills towards Lake Lucerne with spectacular roads carved into the towering mountains. Near Weggis enjoy one of the most iconic views of Switzerland before you reach on of the highlights of this Swiss Alps Driving Tour.

The Susten Pass on foot of the Gotthard Mountain is with 26 bridges and tunnels hewn into the rock massive our absolute favourite Swiss Alpine Pass. Even Porsche seems to think that and shot the promotion of the 2016 model 911 R up here. No doubt you will fall in love with Switzerland up here!

Towards the end of the pass stop the Aare River Gorge and take a short walk between impressive rock formations before heading along the shores of Lake Brienzersee to your beautiful hotel in Interlaken.

Up here visit also the easily accessed 100-metre long blue ice tunnel and ice chamber that has been cut new into the Rhone glacier every spring since around 1870.

Day 3: Swiss Alps & Glacier Express Route towards St. Moritz

Day 4: Loop into Italy & Drive of the Stelvio Pass

Make the stop if you want to learn about the flora and fauna of the only Swiss National Park.

This fast sweeping alpine pass will be your gateway into the Italian Tyrol.

The Abbey of Saint John is an early medieval Benedictine monastery in the Swiss municipality of Val Müstair, in the Canton of Graubünden. By reason of its exceptionally well-preserved heritage of Carolingian art, it has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1983.

Day 5: Mountain Roads of Swiss Engadine Alps + Car Return at Zurich Hoel
Stop At: Albula Pass, La Punt-Chamues-ch 7522 Switzerland
The pass follows the Albula river for a while and is somewhat more beautiful in the northern section. Before you reach Berguen you have to climb the pass along side a cliff with a few serpentines. Up here a wonderful view over the Albula canyon is waiting.

The railways follows parallel to the Albula Pass for some time and with a bit of luck you can see one of the trains crossing over the Albula Pass on one of the impressive stone viaducts. There is also an interesting railway museum in the town of Bergün to visit.

Stop At: Klausen Pass, Klausenstrasse 19, 8751 Switzerland
The Klausen Pass is an incredibly scenic drive in the Central Swiss Alps connecting Altdorf in the canton of Uri with Linthal in the canton of Glarus. With only one hour drive from Zurich you can reach the Klausen as the first real alpine pass in Switzerland with an an elevation up to 1948 metres (6,391ft) above the sea level. Over 46 kilometres (29 miles) and 136 curves the stunning pass is spoiling us with incredible views.
