Booked this company for a 7 seater private transfer from Zurich Airport to Thun. Our flight had a technical issue shortly after takeoff resulting in us retuning to our departure airport to change to a new plane. I contacted AlpTransfer to advise of the delay and the new flight times, providing over 8hrs notice so they could arrange for a new car and driver for us. Literally appalled by the customer service who informed us there was nothing they could do as there was no alternative driver/car available, and it was up to me to find alternative transport despite paying over 400 Euros for the transfer. No refund offered at all and advised the best option was to make a new booking. Miraculously the moment we said ok to rebook a new car, a car and driver was available at the new time. Terrible service, how an airport transfer company can operate like this defies belief. What is the point of even providing your flight details to this company when they don’t make any changes due to flight delays/cancellations which are out of your control? AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
