Stop At: Sihlquai, Zürich, Switzerland

Check in for your tour at the Gray Line trailer at the bus parking Sihlquai.

Stop At: Interlaken, Interlaken, Bernese Oberland, Canton of Bern

The guided coach tour takes you on scenic routes to Interlaken at the foot of the snow-covered Alps of the Bernese Oberland. Enjoy some time at leisure (without guide) in Interlaken.

Duration: 2 hours

Stop At: Grindelwald, Grindelwald, Jungfrau Region, Bernese Oberland, Canton of Bern

Grindelwald is nick-named the 'Glacier Village'. In Grindelwald you will have enough time to explore this region on your own (without guide). Maybe you wish to take an optional cable car ride to the sunny terrace of Mt. First at 2168 m / 7113 ft. (only available during summer months)

Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes

Stop At: Sihlquai, Zürich, Switzerland

In the late afternoon meet your coach and guide for the return journey to Zurich. Your tour will finish at the bus parking Sihlquai in the evening.

The bus ride was great. Our tour guide Kid provided photo opportunities along the way and also comments of specific things to see. Plenty of time to walk around both Interlachen and Grindelwald and get something to eat and take photos.

The tour guide's English wasn't really good. I struggled to understand him. He offered to visit multiple cities rather than just Interlaken and Grindelwald, but you have to pay an extra 47 CHF. So eventually, the group got divided. Most of the group went with the guide and paid the extra money, and the others, including me, continued with the driver to Grindelwald. The driver didn't speak English at all. So when he dropped us off in Grindelwald, he wrote "18:45" on a piece of paper. It turned out that the return time was 4 o'clock, and he wrote it wrong. Eventually, me and some others missed the bus returning and had to pay for the train back to Zurich. I don't really see the difference between me having this trip all by myself and booking this trip. I paid extra money to return home; I didn't get a tour guide, and I was confused about the return time to the bus.

I booked this with the advance knowledge that it is not a guided tour per reviews which was fine for us. There was a tour guide that explained how it went. Basically, you will be dropped off at Interlaken and will spend a certain amount of time there. Then you will be picked up and dropped of at Grindelwald where you will get to explore the resort town on your own. But there was an optional tour once on the bus to take the train tour ride up to Grindelwald without going all the way up to Jungfraujoch which we gladly took. We got see the beauty of the area better.

The cable cars up to the top at Grindelwald! Our tour guide was amazing and told us exactly what we should do when exploring on our own and it didn’t disappoint! We went out on the cliff walk and enjoyed the amazing views.

Our name was not on the list though we booked 4 months before. On the day of travelling we were told to get down from the bus and not allowed to proceed further. Then we rescheduled the trip. Our one full Day was wasted. Terrible experience. Dint expect this from La Vacanza Travel!
