Overview

Zurich has a beautiful, historic old town. Many of the buildings are several hundred years old. In small, private groups, we, two local residents, will guide you for about two hours through winding alleys and cosy squares, right across the old town on both sides of the Limmat river. We will visit places where you can feel the rich history of the city and which can only be reached via special access.

Maria was a wonderful guide, taking us to some unexpected sites and fun photo stops. She is very knowledgeable and happily answered all of our questions about Zurich life and history. Easily one of the best walking tours we’ve ever done. Highly recommend!

Our walking tour was awesome! Maria showed us all sorts of hidden spots and we learned Zurich history. We even road the rack railway. Highly recommended!

Maria was very friendly and knowledgeable. Nothing more to say. Why must I say a minimum number of words?

We absolutely loved that our guide was local to the area, it made the tour more personal. Our guide had great knowledge of the history of the old and new town and it was very clear she was passionate about it. We loved the additional insight into places that would not have been recognised if not on tour / able to be accessed and enjoyed that the tour concluded by reiterating where we had been. Our guide was welcoming and friendly! Would recommend.

From the moment we embarked on our private tour of Zurich, it was clear that Alexander was not just a guide, but a master of hospitality and local insight. With the foresight of a seasoned professional, Alexander had umbrellas at the ready, ensuring that not even the whims of weather could dampen our spirits. His patience was unparalleled, allowing us the freedom to capture memories through pictures and videos without ever feeling rushed. Alexander didn’t just show us Zurich; he introduced us to the heart of the city, sharing personal anecdotes and bringing us to local restaurants he frequents. His recommendations were spot-on, adding a delicious layer to our exploration. It’s rare to find someone so dedicated to creating an exceptional experience, but Alexander did just that, impressing us from start to finish. For anyone in search of not just a tour, but an unforgettable journey through Zurich, Alexander comes highly recommended. His blend of professionalism, warmth, and local expertise sets him apart as a true ambassador of the city. Trust us—booking a private tour with Alexander is a decision you won’t regret. Prepare to be amazed!
