Chiang Mai Night Markets
Thailand is not only famous for its beaches and temples, but it is also widely known to tourists for its excellent shopping. And when you’re in the province of Chiang Mai, your trip will never be complete without dropping by one of the night markets in the city.
The Chiang Mai Night Bazaar is the biggest night market in the city and runs from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM every day. The intersection of Chang Khlan Road and Loi Khor Road stretches over two blocks in each direction and it is lined with shops that sell everything from carved elephants to fake football shirts.
Another great option is Sunday Walking Street, the most popular market in Chiang Mai that stretches for one kilometer where locals sell handicrafts, souvenirs and street food.
If you didn’t catch the Sunday market, you can go to Wualai Walking Street where you can also shop for different local products. If you’re looking to sample Thailand’s best food offerings, you should head to Warorot Market where you’ll find an entire market filled with ready-to-eat snacks, fresh produce, and meals.
La Vacanza offers a wide range of tour packages to Chiang Mai including a stop by these famous markets.
