Island Hopping in Langkawi
For an archipelago that’s composed of 99 islands, it’s not surprising that island hopping is the most popular activity for tourists visiting Langkawi. Different tours are available all year-round from RM80 upwards and your journey will begin from the Teluk Baru Jetty to the different islands in Langkawi.
Most island hopping packages in Langkawi include a stop at the famous Pulau Dayang Bunting named after resembling the silhouette of a pregnant woman.
From the 15-minute boat ride, you will need to hike through dense rainforest to reach the lake where you can swim, lounge or just admire the beautiful limestone rock formations and mangrove trees in the area. Another popular stop is Pulau Beras Basah, one of the best beaches on the archipelago with its white sand and clear waters.
Most island hopping tours end at Pulau Singa Besar, which is a wildlife sanctuary home to a wide variety of animals including hornbills, monitor lizards, eagles, and monkeys.
Since this is the last stop for the tour, you may not be allowed to explore the island but you can still enjoy watching an eagle-feeding session done by your tour guide. Discover the many island hopping packages offered by La Vacanza today!
