Kata was an utterly amazing and very informative tour guide. She gave us important insights into Hungarian and Jewish history while also being very personable and recommending some great cafes and restaurants. Would go with her again in a heartbeat!!!

Kata is very enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Jewish and Hungarian history. We asked her a lot of questions and she was very kind to answer all of that. At the date we booked the tour, one of the Jewish church was not open, so she took us to a lovely museum to see Jewish life from 1500 to 1900, it was very interesting. We liked her so much so that we asked her to take her to the Buda castle on the next day.

Another informative and entertaining tour. Andras brought the history of the Jewish community in Budapest into vivid focus. Not only beautiful but poignant and heartbreaking. The synagogue is amazingly beautiful and Andras was very knowledgable about its history and the symbolism of its design. He gave me a much better understanding of the Jewish faith. The highlight for me was the tree of life and its engraved petals. A tribute both to the horror of the Holocaust and the hope of life.

Kata made Budapest's Jewish history come alive for us with her genuine enthusiasm and knowledge. We were blown away by the beauty and atmosphere of the synagogues. The combination of her tour with the Downtown Pest tour we took on our first day gave us such a vivid picture of Budapest. Thank you.

I have used InsightCities guides on many of my trips. When I knew I was going to Budapest with my daughter, I immediately searched to see what tours Insight Cities had there. We were so fortunate to have Eszter as our guide. I cannot image what this trip would have been like without the tour. We gained so much insight into the history of Budapest and the Jewish community.
