The first in line is the Visitor Centre, where the tour starts and our guests arrive, a waiting centre in THE UNDERGROUND with an information desk, café and gift shop. Inside the Parliament, you can see the Dome Hall, the Ceremonial Steps, of course, the Holy Crown, and an exhibition on your way out.
The ticket price also includes a museum outside the Parliament called the Parliament Museum.

    Be VERY careful when booking a Parliament Tour on La Vacanza Travel. There are EGT and nonEGT tickets. I was not offered a choice when I booked two tickets. So I purchased what was offered online for U. S. Citizens. When we arrived at time and place, I was on the list but told I had purchased EGT tickets which were not good. After much confusion I was able to purchased nonEGT tickets and was told I would receive. refund from La Vacanza Travel for original tickets. La Vacanza Travel just sells tickets at a premium. They do not conduct the tour only get the tickets for you for entry and tour. Tour is great! No. 1 visited place in Budapest.

    We booked this tour directly on the parliament building website, it was confusing but we managed to book an English audio tour for 9am, it was the only one available online about 1 month before we came to Budapest. We did notice that there was a small number of English tours available when we arrived but when we left at 10am they were sold out. Also don’t pay for the toilets inside the building as just outside there are plenty of free ones!!!. The tour was good and we learnt a lot as a family and cost £79 ( one daughter classed as a student). Print your tickets before you arrive

    Lovely building and history. However, tour was overbooked, we booked for 2.15 didn't get going till 2.45. Too many people resulted in pushing and shoving. It was an expensive excursion so a little disappointing, but the building is fascinating and we got to see the changing of the guard for the jewels. My suggestion, make it a smaller group.

    Paid La Vacanza Travel more than double actual cost for no added value indeed just more anxiety about what was purchased. La Vacanza Travel representative not identifying self at venue as described in terms and conditions and having no knowledge and not able to describe tour inclusions. Complaint to La Vacanza Travel requesting partial refund was denied. A RIP off in a beautiful city.
