Continue your foot-powered food adventure as you explore some of East Berlin’s trendiest art galleries, Soviet-era boulevards and colourful street art before taking a break for ‘Flammkuchen,’ a flatbread style German tart at a local restaurant. You’ll also stop by another boutique bakery, where you can sample a variety of cakes and pastries. Still have room for more tasty snacks? Enjoy some Currywurst, with a homemade cold war special sauce, one of Berlin’s most iconic sausage meals. You’ll finish your trip at a local brewery to taste a fresh German beer.

This tour is everything you would want in a food tour of Berlin, a bit of everything, and you do end up quite full but not to the point where it's too much. The food was delicious, Felix was so lovely and knowledgeable, he made sure we all felt happy and catered to everyone in terms of their food preferences, I would definitely recommend to book this tour with him!

Danny was a wonderful host! He was enthusiastic and attentive and shared great stories at interesting stops in the area we were in. The food was delicious and the stops were spread out with enough time to enjoy them. Also, kudos to trip advisor for quick replies when we asked to change our tour last minute. Thank you!

We had a great time on this tour - Felix was really friendly and knowledgeable about the area and the food. We tried some delicious eats - my favourite was the kebab! I was absolutely stuffed by the end. We had a nice small tour - just 4 guests including me and my friend. I think this was a nice group size, allowing us all to chat easily. Overall, I would definitely recommend!

This was an excellent tour and the food was delicious! We had the pleasure of working with Francesco M, a friendly, intelligent, and animated tour guide. He speaks a number of languages (all well) including English, German, and Italian and provides behind-the-scenes history and context regarding the development of Berlin’s rich and artistic culture. Aside from teaching you about the major points of interest, he explains local perspectives and quirks in bite-sized chunks, just like the food stops. Call it “Food for Thought” or “History Bites”, but whatever you call it, don’t skip this tour. Highly recommend 10/10.
