Our tour guide Ferenc was an absolutely brilliant host. We struck up a great conversation and it was like sitting drinking with a great friend. The 3 hours flew by with drinks, chat, snacks and walking around the area! Didn't have as many drinks as we expected but it was still a very enjoyable experience that I would definitely recommend!

We had an incredible tour with Ferenc! He was so incredibly knowledgeable about the craft beers and had a wonderful personality. Sitting down with him for a beer was just like sitting down with an old friend; he made us feel so welcome and comfortable! Ferenc led us through the streets of Budapest and took us to several craft beer establishments. He tailored the beers we had to our choices and preferences but by the end of the tour we were more than happy to let him choose for us, safe in the knowledge that it would be a stunner! He was so charismatic and was able to talk at length about a variety of topics: from beer, to politics, to music, to Hungarian history. We ended the tour with a chicken shwarma and a coffee flavoured stout and I cannot recommend this tour enough!

Nous avions prévenu que nous allions être en retard, et le guide s'est montré compréhensif et nous a attendu. Nous étions ma compagne et moi les seules personnes à être inscrites. La visite vous emmène dans les districts 7 et 9 de Budapest, la où le mouvement des bières artisanales est le plus présent. Notre guide, Peter, était un passionné de bières, celui-ci n'a pas été avare en histoires et anecdotes, et il connaissait son sujet sur le bout des doigts. Il vous fera visiter des bars orientés sur la vente de bières artisanales, certains fabriquant eux-mêmes leur bière. Un des tenanciers est d'ailleurs un des organisateurs du festival de la bière artisanal, festival annulé actuellement du à la pandémie. Vous visitez donc une demi-douzaine de bars ainsi qu'un coin avec différents food-trucks afin de manger un plat hongrois typique (le langos, sorte de pain frit sur lequel vous mettez un peu ce que vous voulez). Dans chaque établissement, les consommations sont comprises dans le prix. Pour en revenir aux connaissances de notre guide, lorsque nous lui avons dit que nous avions déjà été dans un des bars qu'il comptait nous faire visiter, celui-ci n'a pas bronché, et nous a fait découvrir un autre endroit tout aussi intéressant. Le tour a duré presque 4heures, et au final, nous n'avons pas vu le temps passer. A la fin, c'est comme si c'était un ami qui vous faisait découvrir sa ville et son histoire, ainsi que sa culture de la bière artisanale. En conclusion, c'est une visite géniale, à condition de s'y connaitre un minimum en bières et de parler anglais (ou hongrois ou allemand).
