In the morning, drive to Alexandria, and upon your arrival, explore the area of Kom El-Deka, once an affluent residential area in Greco-Roman times.

Continue on to the Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages.

After the catacombs head to a local restaurant for lunch before going to the Great Library of Alexandria in Alexandria, which was one of the largest and most significant libraries of the ancient world.

Your last stop in Alexandria is the Citadel of Qaitbay, a 15th-century defensive fortress by the sea. From here, you will be taken back to your hotel in Cairo.

Day 3: Fly to Luxor & Karnak temple & Luxor temple
Stop At: Temple of Karnak, Karnak, Luxor Egypt
From the airport, head to the East Bank to visit Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple.

After exploring the temples, enjoy a felucca ride on the river before being dropped off at the cruise ship, where you will stay for the next 3 nights.

Wake up early for a hot air balloon ride over Luxor

After landing, your guide will be waiting for you to head to the West Bank of Luxor to visit the Valley of the Kings.

In the early morning, head to one of the most stunning temple complexes in Egypt, the Abu Simbel Temples, for a small-group tour. After the tour, your guide will take you back to the cruise ship to pick up your luggage.

You will then be transferred to Aswan Airport to take the flight back to Cairo. Upon your arrival in Cairo, your driver will be waiting for you outside the airport to return you to your hotel.
