We arrived on June 19 for a tour, received word that the palace was closed because a meeting was called. This is actually a government building as well as a tourist attraction. We went to eat nearby hoping it would reopen with enough time for us to actually get to see it. I received a call 3 hours later saying we could come back but we would only be able to tour it for 2 hours from that point (we were about 30 minutes away). I told the lady on the phone that that doesn't work since we had to head back to Dubai for reservations we had. She told me I would get my money back. When I requested the refund online, it was rejected. I called La Vacanza Travel when I got back home and was told there was nothing they could do. A waste of $260. DO NOT PURCHASE! I think this may actually be a scam.
