English Ben was an excellent tour guide. Great knowledge of history, engaging, and entertaining Castle tour was interesting and you can extend your time after the tour to explore further. Castle is a must see on your first trip to Edinburgh
English Ben our guide was an absolute treasure and fountain of knowledge. He was witty, articulate, knowledgeable about History (having a degree in History probably helps) but the way he wove the stories of the people who lived at Edinburgh Castle along with the historical events was absolutely fascinating and we could have listened all day! Guided tours bring a place to life and allow you to see and learn things you might not have had you been alone, and this tour did just that! I'd been to Edinburgh Castle once before but this visit with a tour made the experience a thousand times better! Jule was our guide and she was amazing! She did a great job at sharing historical information and stories about the castle in an entertaining and engaging way. She also pointed out parts of the castle we should visit (including entrances with smaller queues to save us time!) after the tour was over. You just don't get that sort of insider info when you visit on your own! This tour meets and departs from an easy-to-find location along Edinburgh's stunning Royal Mile. From ticket purchase, to check-in, and the tour itself, we had a great experience. I'd definitely recommend this tour!
We had Sonia as our tour guide, and she was fantastic! We learned a lot and had a fun experience. She made the steep walk to the castle entertaining.
