My problem with La Vacanza Travel was that they never sent me the confirmation email for the tour I booked, I had to contact the company directly to get that. Now, the problem with the company - Rabbie’s - is that the tour sucked. There was no Loch Ness whatsoever, no cruise, not even a drive past it, nothing. Why? Because their bus was broken. So instead, the guide just improvised our itinerary and drove us around random spots, and as a result I’ve gotten to meet all the road side cafes of the highlands. We were left with no recommendations, no history, no nothing, in a little town called Fort William where there was basically NOTHING to do for over 2h30 while they replaced the bus. We did get to go to Glen Coe, I mean, the bus stopped there for 10 min for pictures. And that was that. Once again, no history, no stories, not much guiding from the guide. Its fair to say she was a mere driver. The only reason I’m not giving this a zero star review is because, after I complained, they’ve given me a full refund. Bottom line is: run away from this tour and this company.

What a beautiful day trip to the Highlands! Our guide, Ally, was knowledgeable, friendly and had a great sense of humor. We enjoyed all of the stops, the scenery and the cruise. Definitely have to come back to explore again!

Such a fun, exciting, long tour! You get to see so much stuff and it's definitely worth it if you're unable to drive! Duncan was the tour guide and he was very informative and friendly! He even helped me meet a highland cow by enticing it over with a carrot! 😅

JP was a terrific driver and host. He really made the trip enjoyable. Glen Coe was incredible and visiting Loch Ness was on my bucket list. The Highlands are majestic and JP made sure we got to see some Highland Coos up close and personal.

The tour operators couldn’t have been more efficient or professional. Our tour guide and driver was knowledgeable and fun and made the experience memorable. The only negative is that the bus was a bit tight and the long day of travel could get uncomfortable. Frequent stops definitely helped ease that however. Overall a very worthwhile adventure.
