Itinerary

People wander what exactly "Discover SCUBA Diving" is... this is your chance to learn the basic skills and techniques to dive, breathe and communicate underwater while exploring the beautiful marine life on Unawatuna Beach, taking approximately just 3 hours of your day to complete.
First you can get comfortable with a hot cup of tea while you fill your Health Questionnaire out. Next, with you we will choose the best suitable equipment sizes. With this diving equipment we will then start the dive briefing explaining all information about the SCUBA equipment; dive techniques; how to communicate underwater with your dive buddies and information on the dive site. Your first experience with the diving gear will be in our shallow lagoon at about 1m depth, where you will learn and practice all of the important techniques you need to know. Once you feel fully comfortable, we will set off for the main dive at the beautiful dive site "Rock Island", just a 10 minute boat ride away. Rock Island dive allows you to explore around the interesting reef and watch the countless array of marine species. The depth starts at 2m up to 10m; at the deepest point you can see part of a ship wreck.

• Not recommended for pregnant travelers
• No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
• Travelers should have a moderate physical fitness level
• Not recommend for travelers who did Nasal or Ears Sinus Surgery
• A current valid passport is required on the day of travel
• This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
• This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers
• Confirmation will be received at time of booking
