Snorkeling is the practice of swimming on or through a body of water while equipped with a diving mask, a shaped breathing tube called a snorkel In cooler waters, a wetsuit may also be worn. Use of this equipment allows the snorkeler to observe underwater attractions for extended periods with relatively little effort and to breathe while face-down at the surface.

    Really cool experience! Our guide was lovely, he showed us all the best spots. He also filmed us with his gopro camera and set us the pictures. Absolutely worth the money doing this experience. I don’t think we would enjoy it as much if we just did it ourselves.

    I loved this experience! It’s been a dream of mine to swim with turtles ever since I couldn’t complete my padi dive course. Having a guide meant I didn’t have to worry about where I was going, I could just fully concentrate on enjoying the turtles! He carried a float so I could rest on it every so often to sort my mask or any other reason. When we were on the move I’d just loop my finger round the end of the float and then I could keep my head in the water and watch all the fishies whilst knowing I wouldn’t lose the guide. Plus, all the photos he took were amazing, memories I’ll cherish forever!

    Had a wonderful trip snorkelling. As I am not a confident swimming I was looked after well and had a flotation device to support me. You don’t go too far for shore which was comforting to me. Couldn’t fault the guide and helped me spot a turtle. GoPro pictures and videos sent to me the same day. Would definitely recommend!

    A brilliant experience, expertly led by a competent guide. Our family of four were treated to a fantastic experience with Snorkeling Turtles in Mirissa. The equipment needed is provided, and very quickly, we saw turtles up-close, which was all caught in photos and videos. We were treated really well (there is a range of swimming abilities in our group) and everyone saw plenty of turtles, fish and coral during the hour-long swim. We will definitely snorkel with Snorkeling Turtles in Mirissa when we come again - we had a brilliant time. Thanks for looking after us so well!
