Pass By: Bosphorus Strait, Istanbul 34122 Turkiye

The iconic Bosphorus is undoubtedly one of the most significant landmarks of Istanbul. This natural strait not only bisects the city but also acts as the bridge between two continents – Europe and Asia. It's this unique geographical feature that has given Istanbul its reputation as the "city straddling two continents," linking them through the Sea of Marmara.

Pass By: Dolmabahce Palace, Visnezade Mahallesi Dolmabahce Cd, Istanbul 34357 Turkiye

While on board, one of the highlights we'll encounter is the majestic Dolmabahçe Palace. This Bosphorus gem stands as a testament to Istanbul's grandeur and exemplifies the architectural strides of the Ottoman Empire during the 19th century.

Pass By: Ortakoy, Istanbul Turkiye

Situated at one of the most precious spots along the Bosphorus, the Ortaköy Mosque, with its elegant architecture, is one of the structures that define the skyline of the strait. Originally named the Büyük Mecidiye Mosque, it represents the final period of Ottoman architecture. Commissioned by Sultan Abdülmecid, this mosque follows the monumental structure of the Dolmabahçe Palace, continuing the city's architectural expanse along the Bosphorus.

Pass By: Bosphorus Bridge, Kuzguncuk Mahallesi 15, Istanbul Turkiye

Istanbul, a unique city that straddles two continents, Asia and Europe, serves as a living testament to the fusion of diverse cultures and histories. Bridging these two continents are two remarkable structures: the Bosphorus Bridge and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge. These architectural marvels not only facilitate transportation and commerce but also symbolize the city's enduring role as a gateway between the East and West.

Pass By: Rumeli Fortress, Yahyakemal Cad. No.28, Istanbul 34470 Turkiye

Commissioned by Fatih Sultan Mehmet, the historical Rumeli Fortress stands as a testament to Istanbul's rich past, overlooking the Bosphorus Strait. This ancient fortress, once a bastion of defense and a symbol of power, has now been rejuvenated and transformed. Today, it houses numerous cafes and restaurants, offering both locals and tourists a chance to dine and relax amidst the backdrop of historic walls and panoramic views of the strait. It's a beautiful blend of the city's ancient history and its modern-day vibrancy.

Pass By: Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, Hisarustu Kavacik Yolu, Istanbul Turkiye

The Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, commonly referred to by locals as the "Second Bridge", stands as a remarkable architectural feat in Istanbul. Spanning between Kavacık in Asia and Hisarüstü in Europe, it serves as the second suspension bridge after the Bosphorus Bridge to connect these two continents. It not only plays a vital role in transportation and facilitating daily commutes but also stands as a symbol of the seamless integration of modern engineering with the city's ancient and storied landscape.

Pass By: Anadolu Hisari Fort, Anadolu Hisari, Istanbul Turkiye

Situated on the Anatolian side of the Bosphorus, the Anatolian Fortress stands near the Rumeli Fortress. Commissioned by Sultan Bayezid, it served both as a defense structure and an enhancement to Istanbul's skyline. Today, as one embarks on a Bosphorus dinner tour, this fortress stands as an iconic reminder of the city's rich history.

Pass By: Beylerbeyi Palace, Abdullahaga Cad., Istanbul Turkiye

Nestled on the Asian shores of the Bosphorus, in Istanbul's Beylerbeyi district, stands the magnificent Beylerbeyi Palace. Positioned just a stone's throw away from the Bosphorus Bridge, this architectural gem is one of Istanbul's most refined structures, often considered the jewel of the Bosphorus Strait. Initiated by Sultan Abdulaziz of the Ottoman Empire, its original purpose was to serve as a summer retreat for the royal family. The palace boasts opulent interiors that perfectly match its breathtaking exterior. It's truly a sight to behold while journeying along the Bosphorus.

Pass By: Uskudar, Uskudar, Istanbul

Üsküdar stands as a historic district on the Asian shores of Istanbul. With its roots stretching back to the Byzantine era, it houses some of the city's most significant landmarks and draws countless tourists to its storied streets.

Pass By: KIz Kulesi, Uskudar, Istanbul 34668 Turkiye

Known as Leander's Tower since its Byzantine days, the Maiden's Tower graces a tiny islet off the Uskudar coast. As one of Istanbul's most iconic landmarks, it elegantly stands isolated in the waters, reminiscent of a poised and lovely maiden. This tower is often the backdrop for countless romantic moments – from engagements to proposals, and has inspired myriad legends and tales steeped in mystery and romance. As we embark on our Bosphorus Dinner Cruise, we'll be treated to a captivating view of this enchanting edifice, all while indulging in delectable cuisine and endless entertainment.

Pass By: Topkapi Palace, Cankurtaran Mahallesi Gulhane Park, Near Sultanahmet Square, Istanbul 34122 Turkiye

Topkapı Palace is steeped in tales more vivid and intriguing than many global museums combined. From the 15th to the 19th centuries, it was the epicenter of the Ottoman Empire, inhabited by passionate sultans, determined courtiers, enchanting concubines, and cunning eunuchs. Exploring its luxurious pavilions, the treasure-laden Treasury, and the expansive Harem offers a captivating window into their world and times.

Pass By: Galata Tower, Buyuk Hendek Cad. 2, Istanbul Turkiye

Recognized as one of the world's ancient towers and an iconic emblem of Istanbul, the Galata Tower (known as "Galata Kulesi" in Turkish) earned a spot on UNESCO's World Heritage Tentative List in 2013. This tower, a defining feature of Istanbul's skyline, historically served as a fire lookout post and was often referred to as the Galata Fire Tower.

Pass By: Galata Koprusu, Kemankes Karamustafa Pasa Mahallesi Beyoglu, Istanbul 34425 Turkiye

The Galata Bridge spans the Golden Horn in Istanbul, connecting Karaköy to Eminönü. It's one of the few drawbridges in the world that accommodates tram traffic. The first bridge to span the Golden Horn, known as the "Galata Bridge," was constructed back in 1845.

Pass By: Golden Horn, Bosphorus Strait, Sea Of Marmara, Istanbul Turkiye

The Golden Horn serves as a natural division in Istanbul, distinguishing the city's historical heart from its more modern districts on the European side. Its evocative name is believed to have been inspired by the way the setting sun casts a shimmering golden hue over its waters. Today, this historic inlet is bordered by ancient landmarks and verdant parks, creating a harmonious blend of the past and present, and offering both locals and visitors a serene escape amidst the bustling metropolis.

Unfortunately I was quite disappointed by the experience. The tour is advertised as a tour with an “expert guide” however it seemed the guide knew little about Istanbul, the sights or its history as all that was pointed out was clubs, shops and residential areas. There was a group of at least 14 people and as the guide didn’t have a mic or tannoy, nor was his voice particularly loud, we only heard snippets of the tour as he sat with each group separately. Additionally, the tour was meant to end in Karaköy however we were dropped off at Kabataş Pier and told to make our own way back.

Really great experience! Sena our guide was super nice and helpful. Enjoying amazing views from both sides of Istanbul without having to wait in line or struggle to find a good spot on a crowded boat was sooo worth it! I highly recommend!

Boat is dirty, they charged us 30 Euros for 1 beer and 2 wines. No English announcing what we see. Did not see the Golden horn, NO GUIDE.

Grouchy guide, dirty uncomfortable boat, no protection from the wind, overall a dismal experience. But the views were awesome and we felt safe. Dropoff is NOT at the pickup point.
