Not only does it provide the country with water and electricity, but it also protects Egypt from the destructive flooding of the Nile River.

Next, you'll explore the Temple of Isis at Philae. Construction of the temple began during the reign of Ptolemy II and was completed under the Roman emperors. It was dedicated to the goddess Isis, who was considered the mother of all gods, the mother of Horus, and the consort of Osiris.

Continuing on, we will visit the Unfinished Obelisk, an impressive example of ancient Egyptian stone-cutting techniques. This obelisk is believed to have been commissioned by Queen Hatshepsut during the 18th Dynasty. After the tour, we will transfer you back to your hotel or Nile Cruise in Luxor.
