We arrive at 10:00 a.m. at Bavaria's most famous castle where I will guide you through the crowds and regale you with the history, stories, and mysteries of Ludwig II, Bavaria, and the castle. You will also be privileged to advanced entry into the castle and preferred ticketing time.

Stop At: Schwangau, Schwangau, Upper Bavaria, Bavaria

After our castle tour we make our way to an amazing local brewery for a one hour tour with samples, history, and more!

Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Murnau, Murnau, Upper Bavaria, Bavaria

With beer in hand we bring you the train station in the village of Murnau for a 45 minute ride back to the city center of Munich.

Jake was amazing from the momemt we were picked up at the hotel. He drives safely and is so knowledgeable in Bavarian history and tells the stories so lively! It gave us good background before entering the castle. We liked the duration of the tour and that we had the flexibility to finish earlie

Jake was amazing. This had to be the best tour we ever experienced. Jake’s knowledge and enthusiasm of the places we visited was awesome. The stories he told prior to our visit to the castle just made the castle tour better.. He took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch too.

I visited Munich with 2 friends and we signed up for a Newschwanstein Private Tour from Munich. The tour guide was Jake Doherty owner of All Things Garmisch-Day Tours. His knowledge of the history of the castle and ancient history relating to the areas we toured was awesome. He is an extremely interesting person and a wealth of knowledge. I would definitely hire him for a tour if I was to visit the area again. We had a great time with him. I would highly recommend his tour.

Catastrophique .... vous arrivez a 14h30 le bureau de vente ne veut plus vous vendre de billet alors que le chateau ferme a 18h... Le personnel est désagréable et même audieux... nous ne comprenions pas pourquoi il etait impossible d acheter des tickets... et le personnel nous hurlait dessus et nous a même menacé d appeler la police... Honteux pour des touristes qui souhaitent juste acheter des billets pour un château... Heureusement une personne nous a gentiment expliqué qu il falait acheter les billets que le matin tôt car le nombre de vente de billet est limité... attention ne vous faîtes pas avoir... Nous avons pu voir l extérieur qui est joli et dans un cadre très verdoyant.
