Im not usually one to leave a review like this, but this tour was our least enjoyable experience for our 12 days in Italy. The meeting point was pretty confusing since there was so many people. To start, our tour guide was incredibly dull and did very little to engage the group. Once we started to go through the museums, there wasn’t a lot of explanation and not a fault of our guide, but it was so beyond crowded. Our guide flew through the museums and we barely got to look at anything. It was just so uninformative and rushed, we could not enjoy it. There was also a horribly disrespectful family in our group that would literally push others (including us) out of the way to get to the front of the group. They’d also take photos at points they weren’t allowed and our guide did nothing to intervene I wish we had just skipped doing a tour because I do not feel like we got anything out of it

Guide was excellent informative, knowledgeable. Kept the group moving. Annoying meeting point had to go down a lot of stairs only to go back up them

Amazing artwork and architecture; would take days to really appreciate it. It is, however, very popular with most people on the planet, and they were there in numbers! Thus, you had to keep moving. This is particularly true of the Sistine Chapel, where the staff are anxious to get you through it as fast as possible.

The parts we saw were amazing. Our guide did a wonderful job but very disappointed because we did not get to go into St. Peter’s Basilica. The Pope was hosting a special service.

Wonderful guide who provided information we never would have experienced on our own. It was such a busy day to visit the Vatican and she was able to navigate and get us through the crowds like a pro. NOTE: When you meet at the designated place, there is a huge group of people. That is the line for the check in and then you are separated into the appropriate group. We were confused at first because there wasn't a La Vacanza Travel sign. That isn't necessarily the name of the group you will be assigned to.
